Archives holdings and heritage collections: research assistance and viewing materials on site

Research assistance

Staff of the National Archives and of the National Library are at your service to assist you in your research. Let us know what you want by filling out this form or by calling us. We will get back to you either by phone or videoconference as soon as possible to discuss your needs and how we can assist you with your research. While we must comply with the Copyright Act and any other restrictions, we may also be able to copy certain pages for you, if the materials that interest you are not available online.

If your request pertains to a specific archives centre, you can also contact the centre directly.

If your request pertains to published heritage materials, you can also email collectionspatrimoniales@banq.qc.ca.
