General description

Contemporary and warm, lined with pale wood, this open area is flooded with light as a result of the large windows that cover the facade, from the ground floor to the upper levels. It provides a sweeping perspective of the Grande Bibliothèque's higher floors. Adjacent to the Auditorium, the hall is the ideal place for press conferences, official events, inaugurations, coffee breaks, cocktail dinners, gala events, balls and formal dinners.

Mondays, from 7 am to 11 pm for cocktail dinners and formal dinners when the Grande Bibliothèque is closed to patrons.

Additional services provided by an event manager

Hourly rate
$70

Any work done by an event manager in excess of the number of hours stipulated in a venue rental or loan agreement will be billed by BAnQ at the rate of $70/hour.

N.B.:

The rental of reception rooms includes the arrangement of the facilities and the connection of computer and audiovisual equipment only at the start of the event. The client is responsible for any issue concerning the configuration or compatibility of computer equipment.

BAnQ could demand the presence of security guards and technicians, depending on the nature of the event.

Important:

If the event or its preparation must start before the Grande Bibliothèque opens, at 10 am, a security guard must be present and the client will be billed accordingly.
